I wonder if I’m one of the the few that think this, but something that I wonder “why” comes to mind a lot. Now, with that being said, I’m writing about when you see someone, could be a coworker, a random person walking and passes you, on the phone, etc. they start with a friendly hi greeting and then always add “how are you?”
First off, I don’t think the person really cares, second off, I don’t think the person really cares, and third off, I don’t think the person really cares. It’s just something to add after. I sometimes feel like saying, “well, ya got a minute, let me tell you how I am.” Another one is when someone says to you, ” let’s get together.” I’ll admit, I’ve don’t that a few times, but, people tend to say that lots. Now, they may have the intention to getting together, (maybe something gets in the way, etc), and some may not. They feel obligated to make note and say it. I’d rather the person not even say it. Because actions speak louder than words!
That was my little peeve, if you will.
